screened and utilized. For a GSP, a traditional training method is good for solid temperment/strong willed dogs,
positive reinforcement is good for the timid and mistreated dogs. Remember if you
give a treat for every reward, your dog will only work for treats. A pat and "good dog" go a long way. Feel free
to call the trainer and ask what their specific methods are.
German Shorthair Pointers are a breed of dog that we recommend obedience
training for due to their high energy, especially when not hunted.
