In Loving Memory of Dandy (1995 – Feb. 13, 2008) You came into this rescue and we found out you were sick with cancer. They only gave you 2 months to live and the strong girl that you were, you made it 6. You were the sweetest dog and brought only joy to us. Bear

In loving memory of our good boy, Bear, adopted March 2007. Bear was about 14 when he joined his GSP sister, Molly, and Dachsie brother, Clyde, at our home. They were all wonderful companions but Bear was the sweetest and gentlest of them all. He was so happy to be in a loving home with a loving family and that’s what he got for the rest of his life. He didn’t even mind being bossed around by Molly and Clyde. He loved going for walks around the neighborhood or on the beach down at the North Carolina seashore. He was a tough old dog and survived longer than anyone thought he would but age caught up with him. Bear left us on November 26, 2010, at age 17-plus. He was preceded by Molly and Clyde earlier this year. We will love Bear always and miss him terribly but we know that he’s no longer bothered by the problems of old age and that somewhere he and Molly and Clyde are running around like young dogs again, happy and carefree. In Memory of Dakota (11/27/08 – 7/3/12) Dakota there is not a minute in my life I do not think of you – you beautiful boy. Mommy, Daddy & Dusty miss you so very much. All your silly antics, stealing dish towels, shoes, and then running to us and wagging that short tail thinking you had pulled something over on us and wanting us to chase you. I miss your warm little body in bed with us at night. I wish I could read Dusty’s mind to see where he thinks you may have gone without him. He was your best buddy. Miss Rumor was a lovely girl who kept her retired Mom excellent company tending to gardens and flowers. She was loved by Dottie and is missed beyond words. (8/2014)

Rosie hailed to us from the state of KY. From the moment she arrived her foster Mom Carol adored her and oddly enough she was never posted for adoption……:-)
